Hands-on, BYOL (bring your own laptop) workshops with Wesley Fryer provide one of the best ways to not only gain a better understanding of technology integration possibilities, but also gain PRACTICAL skills utilizing technology tools and strategies in the classroom. Wesley offers a variety of workshops for educators and others focused on the use of different technology tools to support more efficient communication, collaboration, and digital media sharing. 11 May 2011: Google Documents, Spreadsheets, Forms, Presentations and Drawing (Claremore, Oklahoma - Tulsa area)


In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to use Google Documents, Google Spreadsheets, Google Forms, Google Presentations, and Google Drawing environments to create and share collaborative files saved "in the cloud." Specifically, participants will learn how to: 1- Create documents, spreadsheets and presentations online 2- Share and collaborate in real time 3- Safely store and organize your work 4- Control who can see your documents 5- View sample documents, products and files 6- Create original Google docs independently and in collaboration with others.

Bring your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to this hands-on, interactive workshop as together we explore some of the best applications for productivity as well as fun available for Apple's mobile devices! Free as well as commercial apps will be demonstrated including applications for education, photo sharing, news, social networking, digital storytelling, musical expression, art, audio recording, games, and more! If you have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) you'll learn about a wealth of useful as well as engaging applications in this dynamic workshop.
