Developing Problem Solving and Math Skills with Minecraft

Interested in having this shared as a presentation or workshop for your organization?

Description: Minecraft is a sandbox construction game in which players create and destroy various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment. Players use avatars that can destroy or create blocks, form fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplayer servers in multiple game modes. In this session, 14 year old Alexander Fryer (facilitated by his Dad) will provide a guided tour of Minecraft and specifically highlight how problem solving as well as mathematics skills can be developed while playing the game.
