Session Description: A Google Hangout is a free, web-based videoconference that can include up to 10 participants and an unlimited number of viewers who can participate via text Q&A. Google Hangouts support document and screensharing, as well as optional recording for archival and later viewing on YouTube. Google Hangouts are a fantastic platform for teacher and class collaboration. The Google Connected Classrooms program provides opportunities for students to participate in free virtual field trips throughout the year on a variety of engaging topics.
